WoWs xpac could come out as late as Dec 20th and be "Fall" - And not only is that a bs excuse, but they announced and gave more info on Midnight and The Last Titan than D4 did about their ONE xpac. that's why the team is holding stuff back and only announcing it like weeks before release, because they are afraid from backlash, in some cases that backlash is normal, like when they actually ^&*! up, but not when complete brain dead redditors start crying about everything and anything they do, even if it's good. Comment by Chochu on T17:05:51-06:00ĮDIT: you also have to think that anything they come up with, the D4 team I mean, will be VERY scrutinize and also dogpilled upon if it's even remotely bad-ish. + probably because D4 team had to pull people from the other teams to fix stuff for Season 2, they aren't well prepared to actually show the new class and what it's doing, unlike how WoW showed the Warrior doing different stuff with Hero talents.ĮDIT: you also have to think that anything they come up with, the D4 team I mean, will be VERY scrutinize and also dogpilled upon if it's even remotely bad-ish. Plus, Microsoft now owns Blizzard, and they probably want some info also for their E3 or whatever Summerfest Microsoft con they have in summer-ish time. Plus, WoW has more stuff all around to be hyped / theorize / think about than D4, with 4 different zones than just 1 gloomy zone for D4. aka, if they have their stuff together, WoWs next expansion can release in late September at the earliest. The Diablo 4 panel, really sucked compared to Wow.īecause WoW team already has done most-ish of the work AND they release the game in Fall 2024, NOT end of 2024. So why can the Wow team start the hype already with the same release schedule, but the Diablo team can not? Makes no sense.īlizzard really wasted the oppertunity to start the hype train for the next Diablo 4 Expansion.Įither they didn't have anything to show, or the Diablo team are incompetent. We will keep you updated as soon as we know more.īlizzCon 2019 will take place on November 1st and 2nd at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, United States."The expansion is going to come late next year, so we don't want to "light the hype fire" and make it too big to just cool off eventually, leading to players having to wait for a long time. In addition, there is very little time left for BlizzCon 2019, so it is just a matter of days when we know if there was any truth to this information or if everything was false. So, you better take it for what it is: a rumor. It is worth mentioning that this information is not official. Also, remember that reliable sources in the past said that Blizzard was going to reveal this project last year, but they changed their mind at the last minute. The Art of Diablo will be available shortly after BlizzCon 2019. The ad there says: “ With over 500 artworks from Diablo I, Diablo II, Diablo III and Diablo IV, this book represents countless remarkable pieces of art.“. Blizzard is currently promoting the release of the book in various print magazines. A German store recently published a product page for a book called “The Art of Diablo”. This tweet is not the only reason to believe that Diablo 4 could be real. So, it seems that this is a reliable source that knows the company’s plans.įor anyone who cares, diablo 4 and diablo 2 remastered will also be announced. Blizzard announced Ashe at BlizzCon 2018. The reason why Metro_OW’s words have echoed on various parts of the Internet, is that he previously leaked details about Ashe, Overwatch’s heroine. In the tweet, he said sources mentioned that some of Blizzard’s announcements at BlizzCon 2019 will be Diablo 4 and Diablo 2 Remastered. Metro_OW, an Overwatch player and Twitch streamer, shared this information through his Twitter account. Apparently the company wants to amend this error now, since there are rumors which ensure that they will announce Diablo 4, as well as a remastering of Diablo 2 at this years BlizzCon. Last year at BlizzCon 2018, Blizzard disappointed a large part of its community by announcing Diablo Immortal, a mobile game only.
